Jennifer Welch, President & CEO

Jennifer Welch is the President and CEO of Planned Parenthood of Illinois (PPIL). PPIL operates 17 health centers which served more than 66,000 patients last year.  Before coming to PPIL, Jennifer was First Deputy Commissioner of the Chicago Department of Family and Support Services (DFSS).  She previously served as Policy Director for Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan.  Before her tenure in government, Jennifer was the Executive Director of the Chicago Metropolitan Battered Women’s Network, which is the coalition of Chicagoland’s domestic violence service providers. Ms. Welch holds a JD from the Chicago-Kent College of Law and an undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
