Get involved with Planned Parenthood California Central Coast! Volunteering with us is a great way to connect with other advocates for reproductive health and rights!

Volunteers play a vital role in advancing Planned Parenthood California Central Coast’s mission. We are always seeking new volunteers to contribute their time and talent to help make us stronger!

Our Volunteer Process

All volunteers must complete a volunteer application, a phone interview, and sign forms pertaining to our various policies. After we receive your application we will contact you to discuss the next steps. Depending on our needs and capacity, there may be waiting period before an assignment/task/activity becomes available. Volunteer opportunities vary depending on location and need.

Volunteer Roles

As a volunteer, you will help us to provide a higher level of service that would not be possible without your help. Some of the areas where volunteers can work include: community outreach, fundraising and administration. We currently do not have any volunteer opportunities in our health centers (clinics) at this time.

Book Sale Volunteers:
Our Book Sale would not be possible without the dedication of more than 75 year-round volunteers. Our year-round volunteers sort, price and pack books according to defined categories.

Other year-round opportunities include researching books online, writing about a book’s condition, or cleaning and inspecting books prior to their sale.

There are volunteer opportunities to suit everyone — some include working from home and or tasks that don’t require heavy lifting!
