If I had chlamydia and I took my medicine then I had sex with some that was infected with chlamydia Will I get it back again?
Yes, you can get chlamydia again if you have sex with someone who has chlamydia and you don’t use protection, like a condom.
Chlamydia isn’t like the chicken pox, where you usually only get it once. Just like when you catch a cold or strep throat, you can get chlamydia again even if you’ve had it and treated it recently. So, get tested again, and talk with your sexual partners about getting tested, too.
