Appointments are highly encouraged. We cannot guarantee that staff will be available to provide care if you do not have an appointment. No walk ins are available on Tuesdays at our Bensalem Health Center.
Here’s what you need to know about HIV testing at this health center:
Rapid HIV testing can be done with a blood sample taken from a finger stick. The results are available in 10-40 minutes.
HIV testing is done by a blood draw. The results are available in 14 days.
HIV counseling referral services are available.
HIV case management referral services are available.
HIV treatment referral services are available.
Counseling and confidential (private) testing for HIV are provided by trained staff who are sensitive to your needs and concerns.
Results must be given in person.
Positive (reactive) HIV results are reported to Department of Health.
