Insurance & Payments

Everyone deserves affordable health care. With or without insurance, you can always come to us for health care.

I don’t have insurance or Medicaid

If you’re worried about cost, ask us about how you can get health care that fits your budget.

If you do not have health insurance, read about health insurance options to find out how to get more affordable coverage and what to consider when choosing a plan.

I have insurance or Medicaid

We accept many private and public insurance plans. If you don't see your insurance listed, please call us at 404-688-9300.

Services Coverage

Most health insurance plans now cover prescription birth control, annual wellness exams, and STI/HIV screenings with no copay, and many other services with some copay required. Contact your health insurance company directly to make sure that the services you need are covered and what, if any, out of pocket costs you might have.

Additional Payment Information

Payment is expected at time of service unless other arrangements have been made. We accept:

  • Cash
  • Major Credit/Debit Cards
  • Medicaid (PlanFirst) accepted.

To confirm that your insurance can be accepted as in-network by the health care provider at the time of your appointment, please call (205) 322-2121.

More About This Health Center

Planned Parenthood is committed to keeping our communities safe. As part of this commitment, we are implementing short-term recommendations to help limit the spread of coronavirus , also known as COVID-19, in our communities. One of the best ways to prevent the spread is to limit the number of people you come into contact with, especially if you are feeling sick. If you have a fever, cough or shortness of breath we ask that you call us prior to arriving at the health center.
