Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization eligible for qualified charitable distributions (QCD) through the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes Act of 2015. If you are 73 years of age or older, your gift may count toward your required minimum distribution (RMD) for the year in which the check is issued and is excluded from your taxable income.

To make an IRA rollover contribution to Planned Parenthood Federation of America, contact your account administrator for the required forms. We also accept QCDs from IRA checkbooks provided by your financial institution. Please provide your broker or financial institution with PPFA's address and Tax ID (TIN):

In order to donate your IRA rollover to a local Planned Parenthood affiliate, please provide the mailing address and Tax ID # of your local administrative office.

Additional information to note:

• The minimum age requirement for a rollover IRA is 70 1/2.

• The maximum donation amount from an IRA in one year cannot exceed $100,000.

• IRA donations must be made out directly from your financial institution to Planned Parenthood Federation of America.

• We are unable to accept QCDs made out to the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, the Planned Parenthood PAC, or Planned Parenthood Votes.
