What's the difference between regular condoms and condoms with spermicide?

Spermicidal condoms and regular condoms both work equally well to prevent pregnancy. The only difference is that condoms with spermicide have a thin layer of spermicide on them, but it’s not enough to give you any extra protection from pregnancy.
Using spermicide condoms is definitely better than using no condoms at all. But regular condoms have the same effectiveness as spermicidal condoms. And when used correctly, condoms are really good at preventing both pregnancy and STDs.
