I had sex the day before my period. Could I still be pregnant?

I had sex the day before I got my period. The next day it was heavy, normal, and lasted the usual 4 days. Is there still a chance I could be pregnant?
Nope. If you got your period, that means you did not get pregnant from that act of sex.
If you don't want to get pregnant, it's a good idea to use an effective form of birth control — whether or not you're on your period. That way you're not taking chances and you don't have to stress out. Some effective forms of birth control include the pill, the ring, the shot, the implant, and IUDs.
