The following information is for any student – middle school through graduate school – with an assignment related to Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin (PPWI) or sexual and reproductive health topics.
We do our best to assist students with school assignments, when possible. Additionally, we do ask that you first do some preliminary research on your topic, ask us informed and respectful questions, and provide us with an adequate amount of time (usually 1-2 weeks) to respond to your request for information, interviews, or resources.
Before contacting our staff, please review any of the following resources related to your topic:
- Birth control
- Emergency contraception
- Sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
- Data on sexual behaviors and health outcomes of Wisconsin youth
- PPWI mission statement
- PPWI health centers and health services
- PPWI patient demographics and funding sources are in our Annual Reports
- PPWI education programs
- Policies that impact PPWI's health services and education programs
If you still have questions, need additional resources, or are required to conduct an interview for your assignment, please email us at Education@ppwi.org or call us at 608-251-6587 ext. 1.
In order to respond to questions or requests for interviews or resources, we will first need to verify your assignment. Please be prepared to provide us with the following information: your school name, your course or department, your instructor’s or adviser’s name, and contact information for your instructor or adviser.
