Many people are unaware that Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin provides quality, compassionate reproductive health care to thousands of Wisconsinites every year. Your story will help ensure that we will continue to be there for women, men, and young people who rely on our services - no matter what.

Women's Health Stories

At Planned Parenthood, our top priority is providing patients with high quality, safe, compassionate health care including honest sex education, birth control, STD prevention and treatment, counseling, adoption referrals, cancer screenings, and abortion services.

Abortion is a deeply personal and often complex medical decision that should be left to a woman and her family with the counsel of her doctor.

Lori's Story

"One day, I was having these horrible pains in my lower abdomen, and I called my doctor at Planned Parenthood. I found out I had tumors and cysts in my ovaries, and that it was a health emergency. They were able to save half an ovary, and that was enough, because I was able to have children."

Christy's Story

"I wasn't sick. I had no symptoms that there was something wrong with me. If I hadn't been a patient of Planned Parenthood, I would not have known that I had cervical cancer until I was sick - and I probably would have died."
