In celebration of Women’s History Month, we visited our Brands Against Bans partners Amanda and Susan at their boutique Golden Gems in St. Louis, Missouri. Golden Gems carries a variety of products that include pro-abortion, pro-women, pro-LGBTQ+, and overall pro-baddie attire, accessories, and home goods.
These bosses and sisters at Golden Gems have been such amazing supporters of sexual and reproductive health and rights in our community, frequently donating profits from their thriving business to on-the-ground partners like Planned Parenthood and recently hosting conversations around sexual health. How would you describe Golden Gems?

Why do you support Planned Parenthood?
“Golden Gems is a women-owned business that was built on inspiring and empowering. And that means empowering women to live life on their own terms, and how they see fit. Naturally, that means we support abortion, and take up the space for their sexual health.”
Why is the fight for sexual and reproductive health and rights important to you?
“As a business that employs a team of 30 women, we deeply know the importance of protecting our rights. Our rights not only include access to sexual and reproductive health, but also we have a right to educate ourselves on what is best for us through organizations like Planned Parenthood."
