For Patients

Thank you for choosing Planned Parenthood.

At Planned Parenthood, we treat health care as a basic human right — one that’s dispensed freely and without judgment to every person — regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, class, age, personal circumstances or ability to pay.

Walk-Ins

Planned Parenthood accepts walk-ins during business hours for certain services. We ask that patients arrive at least 30 minutes before close of business. Know that there may be times where our health centers may not be able to accommodate walk-ins.

Our sexual and reproductive health services give individuals the power and ability to take control of their lives, their health and their future.

Fill Out Forms

If you've made an appointment, there may be some forms to fill out. Please bring these with you when you visit us. You can fill out the forms before your appointment and save time during your visit.

Preparing for Your Appointment

Already have an appointment? Great! Here's the information you need to know prior to the day of your visit. Some services do have specific instructions for patients.

Payment Information

If you have health insurance, that's great. Our services are covered under many policies. However, you should contact your health insurance provider directly to confirm the services you need are covered, and what if any, out-of-pocket costs you are required to pay.

Questions about Health Insurance

Planned Parenthood can help you get enrolled every step of the way. Our Marketplace Assisters will be able to help you determine your eligibility and walk you through your coverage options.

Re: Pap Tests

If you’ve had a Pap test within the past three years, and are between the ages of 21 and 66, please bring the following information to your appointment:

  •          Name of doctor/location who provided the Pap test
  •          Approximate date of the Pap test
  •          Result of the Pap test

This information is to ensure we provide only the health care you need. If you’re not sure if you received a Pap test, then please bring the information above to the best of your ability.

If you received your Pap test at Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region and Southwest Missouri, then you do not need to bring in this information.

If you have any questions, please give us a call at 314-531-7526.

After Your Appointment

After your appointment, look for our patient survey in your email. The survey will be from Planned Parenthood and will be sent to you within a week after your appointment. The survey should only take about 10 minutes to complete.

Thank you in advance for your feedback!
