There are many ways to volunteer with Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region and Southwest Missouri.

Share Your Story
Whether it's affordable birth control or the right to safe and legal abortion, tell us why these services matter to you.
Your story is a powerful way to show your support and help others understand what we're fighting for!
So tell us, why do you #StandWithPP?
Planned Parenthood regularly has phone banks. Volunteers call reproductive rights supporters to offer information about upcoming events, important legislation, and elections.
Join fellow supporters and hop on the phones to make a difference for sexual and reproductive health and rights!
There is a constant need for volunteers to help with data entry, mailings, and other office work.
Grab a friend and spend a few hours helping Planned Parenthood!
Join the Community Advisory Board
The purpose of the Community Advisory Board is to provide community input on the strategy and materials developed by Planned Parenthood. Members of the CAB represent diverse backgrounds, demographics and constituents with whom Planned Parenthood seeks to improve relations. Members should be supporters of Planned Parenthood’s mission and be able to attend at least four virtual meetings in a calendar year.
Write a Letter to the Editor
A team of Planned Parenthood supporters respond to newspaper articles by writing letters to the editor.
Our public policy team flags relevant articles and provides you with the facts and figures you need to respond effectively.
Intern with Planned Parenthood
Internships are available with our development and public policy teams. Development interns assist with mailings, proofreading, research, and events. Interns on our public policy team learn about advocacy, public policy, grassroots organizing, lobbying, volunteer recruitment and management, electoral work, and more.
Internships are not just for students — opportunities are available to any supporter with the time and commitment to make a difference.
Health Center Advocacy Program (HCAP)
HCAP is Planned Parenthood’s advocacy initiative, centered in and around health centers nationwide. As it is said in the disability rights advocacy community: “nothing about us without us is for us.” We need to center the voices of our patients in our work, and HCAP is how we find those voices.
HCAP has two goals: to engage patients and their loved ones as supporters; and to increase the number of patients seen by PPSLRSWMO. Now, it’s more important than ever to work with our patients to protect and advocate for our rights!
Get Involved on Campus
PP Generation Action is a network of young activists across the country who organize events on their campuses and in their communities to:
- Mobilize advocates for reproductive freedom
- Raise public awareness about reproductive health and rights
- Educate young people about sexual health
- Create lasting change in their communities
Join the Outreach Team
The outreach team represents Planned Parenthood at community events across the region.
Volunteers promote Planned Parenthood services and programs as well as educate the public about sexual and reproductive health and rights.
