Statement from Amanda Skinner, President & CEO, Planned Parenthood of Southern New England:

“Although we don’t know the results of the 2020 election yet, here’s what you can be sure of: Planned Parenthood of Southern New England (PPSNE) remains committed to doing everything in our power to take care of our patients. Regardless of the outcome of the election, we believe every person deserves access to timely sexual and reproductive health care — no matter what.

“Nearly a century ago, PPSNE was founded on the idea that we all have the right to access the care and information we need to live strong, healthy lives. Nothing will deter us from our mission. Despite the continuing political attacks that increase barriers to care, Planned Parenthood of Southern New England’s compassionate and expert health care providers work every day to provide people across Connecticut and Rhode Island with the care they need.

“Our patients' health care is often time-sensitive and is always essential. Today and every day, everyone can continue to rely on PPSNE to provide the sexual and reproductive health care and primary care services, information, and education people need to take charge of their health, their bodies, and their futures.”
