Gloria Steinem joins 750+ supporters at Planned Parenthood of Southern New England’s annual Spring Luncheon.

What:      

Planned Parenthood of Southern New England (PPSNE) welcomes writer, activist, lecturer and trailblazing women’s rights leader Gloria Steinem to the annual Spring Luncheon for a powerful dialogue moderated by PPSNE President and CEO Amanda Skinner. The event, which will include a record-breaking 750+ attendees, supports 17 health centers in Connecticut and Rhode Island that provide life-saving reproductive health care to  75,000 patients each year.

During the Luncheon, Greenwich resident and longtime PPSNE supporter Erica Buchsbaum will receive the Community Impact Award. We are also pleased to welcome Dr. Leana Wen, the new President of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, to the annual Spring Luncheon.

Planned Parenthood of Southern New England (PPSNE) is one of the region’s largest providers of family planning and reproductive health care services. Since 1923, PPSNE has evolved into an organization with 17 health centers in Connecticut and Rhode Island, delivering care to 75,000 patients annually. For more than 95 years, PPSNE health centers provided a broad range of services, sexual health education, information and health counseling. Ninety percent of the services provided are preventive.
