How Does Telehealth Work?

  1. Call 1-800-203-PLAN (7526) for an appointment or book online.
  2. Staff will follow-up to understand your current needs and review your medical history.
  3. One to two hours before your scheduled visit time, a preparation call will be done by a Telehealth clinic assistant. This call helps identify patient concerns and any tech related issues prior to your provider visit.
  4. You'll receive a link to a secure, confidential video conferencing platform. Find a quiet, private place for your visit.
  5. Health center staff will gather basic information and a health care provider will conduct the visit on your computer or smartphone.
  6. The provider will outline a treatment plan. If you need medication, we'll send your prescription to a pharmacy near you.

Like an in-person visit, telehealth appointments are covered by most insurance plans. As always, we offer a sliding fee scale based on your income.
