FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

THURSDAY, APRIL 30, 2015 • 5 - 7 PM
OMNI BALLROOM • 155 TEMPLE STREET • NEW HAVEN, CT 06510

Join us for a roundtable discussion on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of Griswold v. CT, the landmark 1965 U.S. Supreme Court decision that overturned a state law prohibiting the use of birth control on the grounds that it violated marital privacy. The decision informed Roe v. Wade, the 1973 case that legalized abortion. The panelists will use the Griswold decision as a vehicle for exploring the recent history and current status of reproductive rights in the United States.

Panelists include: JUDY TABAR Planned Parenthood of Southern New England; LINDA GREENHOUSE Yale Law School; HEATHER MUNRO PRESCOTT Central Connecticut State University; BARBARA SICHERMAN Trinity College; REVA SIEGEL Yale Law School; ROSEMARY A.
