Telehealth Step-by-Step

Book your telehealth appointment online or over the phone

After booking your appointment, PPSP will email you a confirmation.

Activate MyChart Patient Portal

  1. All telehealth appointments occur through MyChart. Complete all registration information
  2. eCheck-In through MyChart will be available 72hrs before to your scheduled appointment; at minimum check-in 60 minutes prior to your appointment

Join your secure videoconferencing “face-to-face” appointment with your clinician (telehealth visits are HIPAA compliant)

  1. If you need bloodwork, your labs will be ordered to an outside lab facility or one of our health centers
  2. If you need a prescription, you will be able to pick up your medication at your preferred pharmacy
  3. You will pay for your visit at the time of your appointment

Tips for a Successful Visit

  • You must be in the state of Pennsylvania during your visit.
  • Have a photo ID to provide during registration.
  • Find a quiet, secure place to conduct your visit.
  • You may use earbuds or headphones to help protect your privacy.
  • Ensure you can be seen via video.
  • Use a stable Wi-Fi or cell connection.
  • Have a credit or debit card available to pay for your visit.
