In Person Visit Information and Instructions

Please note: you will speak with a health care professional at your appointment about your medical information, all of your options, and you will be able to ask questions.

General Information about your in-person office visit to Planned Parenthood

  • Your appointment will take place at the health center. 

  • Be sure to confirm the center location where your appointment is scheduled. 

  • Please arrive to the center on time. If you arrive late, we may need to reschedule your appointment. 

  • We ask that only patients come into the center. If you require a legal escort, please let staff know.  

  • You must bring photo ID and insurance card/information (if using).  Without these, we will not be able to see you and will reschedule your appointment.  

  • If you are feeling sick or have been exposed to anyone with COVID-19, please stay home.

Payment Information

  • Payment in full is expected at time of service. 

  • We accept commercial insurance, PA Medicaid and Self-Payment 

 

For insurance: 

  • You must have photo ID and your insurance card/information at your appointment.  

  • If not, we may need to reschedule your appointment or you can pay out of pocket. 

For self-pay: 

  • Services are charged on sliding fee scale that is based on household size and income.  

  • Our staff will ask financial assessment questions at time of scheduling to determine where you fall on the sliding scale.  

  • We reassess all patients annually.  

For uninsured patients: 

 

  • We accept cash, credit or debit cards as payment. 

  • If you made your appointment at least 3 days out and you are not using insurance, you will receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected visit costs. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises. 

  • Donations are welcome at the time of your visit and will help us continue to provide care, no matter what.
