OUR HEALTH CENTERS PROVIDE MEDICAL SERVICES TO NEARLY 45,000 PATIENTS EACH YEAR
 

Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania (PPSP) provides high-quality sexual and reproductive health care services for more than 45,000 patients at our eight health centers and four surgical centers, regardless of our patients’ ability to pay, or their insurance status. PPSP also provides sexuality education programs to youth and works to protect women’s health and reproductive rights. 

In 2016:

>60K chlamydia and gonorrhea tests

>40K birth control methods dispensed

>15K HIV tests

>11K syphilis tests

5,500 bacterial vaginosis treatments

4,500 pap tests

3K yeast infection treatments

1,600 IUD or implant insertions

Specialty GYN care including: 

  • Medication and surgical abortion services
  • 850 cervical biopsies 


WE ARE THE PRIMARY SOURCE OF MEDICAL  CARE FOR YOUNG PREDOMINANTLY  HEALTHY WOMEN IN THE REGION

  • 62% of our patients are 18-34 years old
  • 89% are women
