Why Choose This Program?
Developed by researchers at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), this evidence-based eight-session program focuses on building effective communication skills aimed to promote healthy sexual development and reduce risky behaviors. As the sole agency funded by the California Department of Public Health, Maternal Child and Adolescent health division, Planned Parenthood of Orange & San Bernardino Counties (PPOSBC) brings you this comprehensive parent/caring adult program. Sessions are offered in both English and Spanish.
Who Can Attend?
Bring together groups of at least five parents, caretakers, or professionals dedicated to adolescents. If you’re not part of a group, express your interest by filling out our form, and we’ll connect you with a group. Attendees may receive incentives such as catered lunches or gift cards.
When are Sessions Held?
Tailor the program to your schedule. Choose a day and time each week that suits your group best. Our Health Educators will accommodate preferences for the eight one-hour sessions.
