Expanding Health Care Access Through Telehealth

On March 24, 2021, PPOSBC Associate Medical Director, Dr. Shannon Connolly, spoke to legislators and their staffers in support of AB-32, a bill uplifted by Assemblymember Cecilia Aguiar-Curry. This bill ensures the preservation of California’s expanded telehealth authorizations, which were initially implemented due to COVID-19. Currently, the bill allows for increased access to remote Medi-Cal care through video and telephone visits.
