Community Comes Together for Healthy Teen Relationships
On February 9, 2022, Planned Parenthood of Orange & San Bernardino Counties (PPOSBC) partnered with the Orange County Community Foundation (OCCF) and seven other local organizations to raise money for the 2022 Love Is Campaign, an annual, 24-hour virtual giving day to support healthy teen relationships in Orange County.
In total PPOSBC surpassed its fundraising goal of $10,000, raising more than $20,000 from 31 donors.
“We’re so grateful to our community for supporting us and helping to further our work to educate youth on healthy relationships,” said Jennifer Trinh, Vice President of Development, PPOSBC.
The funds raised will help to sustain PPOSBC’s Community Education and Outreach team’s educational programming created specifically for youth which includes a variety of topics including Healthy Relationships, Healthy Communication, and Bullying and Safer Social Media among others.
Other participating organizations included Women's Transitional Living Center, Inc., Laura's House, The Priority Center, Crittenton Services, LGBTQ Center Orange County, UCI Law, and OC Pride.
