PPNNE: What To Expect

 

We are your sexual health experts. Nothing will freak us out.

At PPNNE, we accept and respect teens for who they are and work hard to protect the sexual health of all teenagers. We will support you to involve an adult in your decisions, and we will provide the same level of care and information if you feel you cannot.

When you visit a Planned Parenthood health center, you will meet experienced medical providers who will offer you a safe space to talk about your needs. You will get information about and support for your choices.

We offer special services for teens, including:

  • Education and information
  • Annual exams
  • Birth control (including free condoms)
  • EC (emergency contraception with a prescription for minors)
  • Pregnancy testing and options education
  • Abortion care
  • Vaccines (including the HPV vaccine to protect against cervical cancer)
  • STI testing & /HIV screenings and treatment
  • Rapid HIV testing with results in 20 minutes
