Programs for Schools

We provide school-based health education sessions for individuals beginning at age ten. Our educators provide comprehensive sexuality education and resources.

Comprehensive, medically accurate sexuality education seeks to help people develop a positive view of sexuality, provide them with information and skills to take care of their sexual health, and help them acquire skills to make responsible decisions now and in the future.

We create educational experiences that help youth develop relationship and communication skills to help them explore their own values, goals, and options around sex and their sexuality.

We follow the philosophy of the 3Rs - Rights, Respect, and Responsibility.

Rights - We believe that youth have the right to accurate information and access to health services.

Respect - We respect youth as valued members of the community, with much to offer.

Responsibility - We trust youth and adults to make responsible decisions when they are provided with the tools they need including information, skills, and support.

Programs for Schools

Workshops

Our educators will travel to your school and provide interactive, comprehensive sexuality education workshops for your students on a one-time or series basis. We provide workshops for all students including students with cognitive disabilities.

Safe Celebrations

Our educators will travel to your site and provide science-based, evidence-informed, and developmentally appropriate sexuality education to your event attendees.

Living Room Talks

Our educators will travel to your school and provide a 2.5-hour program in which parents/guardians and their pre-teens/teens can get comfortable talking with each other about growing up, sexuality, and relationships. They will learn the skills they need to communicate effectively with each other about behavior and values.

Teen Life Conferences

PPMNJ holds bi-annual youth conferences that focus on youth empowerment and growth. PPMNJ partners with local community experts to deliver keynote speeches and workshops on various youth health and development topics including college readiness, social justice, contraceptives, healthy relationships, and LGBTQ+ inclusivity.

Train the Trainer

Our educators will travel to your site and provide professionals (teachers, community health workers, RN's, etc.) with the tools and knowledge that they would need to confidently provide sexuality education. Our educators also provide businesses and organizations with trainings on topics including LGBTQ+ inclusive work environments and sexual harassment.
