Comprehensive Sexuality Education: Our Approach
PPMNJ’s approach to sex education is more than just lecturing about anatomy, birth control, and STI prevention. Sex is about things people can do. Sexuality is part of who you are. Comprehensive sexuality education is a medically accurate curriculum that provides positive messages around sex and sexuality as natural, normal, healthy parts of life.
We create educational experiences that help our audiences develop relationship and communication skills to help them explore their own values, goals and options around sex and their sexuality.
Our educators can deliver interactive workshops on a variety of sexuality topics including:
- Birth Control and Abstinence
- HIV/AIDS
- Anatomy & Physiology
- Puberty
- Accessing Reproductive and Sexual Healthcare
- Sexually Transmitted Infections
- Relationships and Dating Violence
- Gender, Sex, Orientation, and Identity
- Pregnancy Options
