Volunteers play a vital role in advancing the mission of Planned Parenthood of Greater Washington and North Idaho — "We provide and protect the health care and information people need to plan their families and their futures." As a volunteer, you will help us provide a higher level of service that would not be possible without your help. Types of Volunteer Opportunities:

Clinic Escort

Provides assistance by checking in clients on surgical procedure days (i.e., termination of pregnancy) and/or on days when protestors are present outside the facility. The clinic escort may be assigned to any or all of the following duties: greets clients, checks or searches bags, makes copies of client identification cards, physically escorts clients to and from their cars, and maintains visual surveillance of the facility's front parking lot to identify safety or security concerns.

Advocacy

Provides support to the external affairs department on all advocacy activities including grass roots organizing, voter registration, letter writing campaigns, media monitoring and media outreach opportunities.

General Office

Provides general clerical support to the various departments in the administrative offices. Duties include but are not limited to answering phones, data entry, and filing.
