Please note, our health center hours on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month are delayed by one hour, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. We apologize for any inconvenience.

We are also open on the 2nd & 4th Saturday of the month from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to accommodate our patients’ needs. Please call our health center or visit our Patient Portal to request a Saturday appointment.

Abortion services not provided at this location. For abortion care, please call (210) 736-2262.

Most health insurance plans now cover prescription birth control, annual wellness exams, and HIV and STD screenings with no copay, and many other services with some copay required. Contact your health insurance company directly to confirm that the services you need are covered and what, if any, out of pocket costs you are required to pay.

More Appointment Information

We’re unable to provide childcare at our health center. For safety reasons children need to be accompanied by an adult when they’re in the waiting room. Only infants can accompany you to the exam room. Please bring a friend or family member to be with your children if you don’t have childcare at home.

Specially trained staff are available for people with developmental disabilities.

Specially trained staff and medical equipment are available for people with physical disabilities.

Children under the age of 1 are not allowed in the waiting area unsupervised.

You can come to us for services that don’t require a medical exam. For example, birth control education and supplies; emergency contraception (AKA the morning after pill); pregnancy testing and counseling; STD testing, and testing and treatments for urinary tract infections.
