Walk-in Information

If you need emergency contraception (AKA the morning after pill), you can walk in anytime we’re open.

You are welcome to walk in any time the Health Center is open to make an appointment or see if there is a same day appointment available. If you have the time to wait, we will make every effort to fit you in the same day. If we can’t see you, we will give you the first priority appointment available.

Everyone deserves affordable health care. With or without insurance, you can always come to us for your health care.

I don’t have insurance or Medicaid

If you don't have insurance, you may qualify for a state-funded program or a lower fee scale. If you’re worried about cost, talk to us about how you can get health care that fits your budget.

Payment Information

You can always come to us for care. We have affordable payment options at most health centers, but at: Prevention Park Family Planning, Center for Choice, Spring, Southwest, Stafford, Northwest, Northville, New Orleans and Baton Rouge payment is due up front. Our fees are based on your household income.

I have insurance or Medicaid

We take the following insurance:

  • Employee Health Systems
  • Family PACT (FPACT)
  • Kaiser Permanente (Abortions Services Only)
  • Medi-Cal

We accept many private and public insurance plans. If you don't see your insurance listed, please call us at 626-798-0706.

Payment Options

Most health insurance plans now cover prescription birth control, annual wellness exams, and HIV and STD screenings with no copay, and many other services with some copay required. Contact your health insurance company directly to confirm that the services you need are covered and what, if any, out of pocket costs you are required to pay.

We can also help you determine if your insurance will be accepted and what your visit will cost when you make an appointment or come in for care. More Appointment Information

You can fill your birth control prescriptions at our health center instead of the pharmacy. Birth control refill pick ups are available for pickup during normal health center hours, however, we ask that you call in your refill at least 24 hours in advance.

You can come to us for services that don’t require a medical exam. For example, birth control education and supplies; emergency contraception (AKA the morning after pill); pregnancy testing and counseling; STD testing, and testing and treatments for urinary tract infections.
