So my boyfriend and I recently had sex at first it was unprotected but then we used a condom. Before we officially had sex he ejaculated three times. He says he did produce any pre-ejaculation when he was inside of me, but we both still fear that I could be pregnant. I know what we did was stupid but we need help. Please help us.

Anytime you have unprotected vaginal sex, it’s possible to get pregnant – even if you eventually put on a condom before ejaculation. That’s because after any previous ejaculation, some sperm may stay inside the urethra (the tube in the penis where semen comes through) and catch a free ride into your vagina with pre-cum.

It’s also impossible to know if someone has pre-ejaculate (precum) come out during sex, because there’s not enough fluid for either of you to notice.  So even if he thinks he didn’t pre-cum when you were having sex, it’s impossible to tell either way. It’s not obvious like when a guy ejaculates.

If you used a condom during ejaculation, it’s unlikely that you’re pregnant.  But it’s still possible, so take a pregnancy test if your next period doesn’t come.
