Is it possible for Gonorrhea to passed down through the blood from generation to generation?
Gonorrhea is not hereditary, meaning it’s not passed from parents to children through blood or genetic material. It can be passed from a woman to her fetus during birth, however. Gonorrhea is most often spread by vaginal and anal intercourse and oral sex. It’s not passed through casual contact. Learn more about gonorrhea.
