i am on the ortho evra patch, i ve been taking it correctly since june. i was previously on the depo for 2 years with no periods. i got my period Friday night during the free week of the patch and my boyfriend ejaculated in me Saturday night but i put my patch back on he net day, sunday, and my period ended on that Tuesday like it normally does, what are my chances?
If you’ve been using the birth control patch correctly (and it sounds like you are), you’re protected. As long as you put the new patch on after your “off week” (the week you don’t wear one), you‘re protected from pregnancy – even during your “off week” and during your period. This is true of the ring and the pill too – even when the ring is out, and even when taking the placebo pills, that birth control keeps right on working.
