Planned Parenthood’s work is to hold up the humanity of all people and to fight for a world where no person is marginalized or attacked for who they are.

Many across our community are reeling from Hamas' horrific attack on Israeli civilians and the humanitarian crisis continuing to unfold in Gaza with the escalation of war. The heaviness is palpable. There is no dispute that millions of lives, families, and communities will forever be devastated. Too many already have been.

All people deserve to live a life free from hate, violence and persecution. We must fight the pervasive, ugly, and deadly forces driving antisemitism and Islamophobia — and know that neither of these can be fought in isolation.

Words are insufficient. Words will never fully encapsulate the pain, grief, anger and increased fear for their own safety that people are feeling at this moment. But our words, and our actions, hold power. Today, and every day, we must continue to lift each other up and create a world where we can all be free and be seen.
