Abortion Appointment Information and Instructions

Please note: you will speak with a health care professional at your appointment about your medical information, all of your options, and you will be able to ask questions.

Please read this important information before your appointment:

  • The cost of this visit will range from $150 to $200.  Most people will pay $150, but if additional testing is required it could cost more.  If you are struggling to afford the cost please call us.

  • Payment is expected at the time of service.  We accept cash and most major credit cards.
  • Please bring your photo ID and insurance card with you.
  • At this visit you will have an ultrasound, lab work and counseling.  This visit is mandatory if you want to have an abortion in Wisconsin.  Your abortion will take place at a separate visit.
  • Your visit may take up to 2 hours.  There will be waiting time involved.
  • You are welcome to bring one guest with you.  Guests must be over the age of 18 and must bring a photo ID.  Guests will only be allowed to join you during some parts of your appointment.
  • Children must remain in the waiting room and must be supervised by a responsible adult.  Children will not be allowed to accompany you into the exam room.
  • If you are late for your appointment, we reserve the right to reschedule you.
