Education & Training

PPWNM believes that people of all ages have the right to learn about their sexuality and develop skills to make healthy decisions about their bodies and relationships. Whether you are a health and human services professional, teacher, religious leader, parent, student, or concerned citizen, PPWNM can design, deliver, and evaluate educational sessions that are customized to meet the needs of your learners.

We specialize in delivering developmentally appropriate, culturally sensitive, medically accurate, and skill-based programs on the following topics:

  • reproductive anatomy/physiology
  • body attitude
  • changes at puberty
  • communication skills
  • contraception
  • decision making
  • goal setting
  • healthy/unhealthy relationships
  • media/peer influences
  • parent/child communication
  • Planned Parenthood services
  • sexual orientation
  • sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
  • teen pregnancy

As a nonprofit agency, PPWNM is funded by grants, program fees, and contributions. Our program fees are $75 per hour plus mileage. We provide discounts for multiple sessions. Many requests are covered in whole or partially by grants, so don't hesitate to contact us about the support available.
