Planned Parenthood of Michigan’s Education Department is seeking high-school aged youth who are passionate about sexual health education! PPMI’s Youth Advisory Council is your opportunity to provide your perspective, voice, and experience within the sexual health education in your community and provide your insight to shape and inform the education that we provide across the state. Are you a college student interested in educating your peers about healthy sexuality including healthy relationships, contraceptive methods, LGBTQ+ identities, abstinence, reducing STIs and unintended pregnancy, consent, and more?
Planned Parenthood's College Peer Education Program is now taking applications for the 2024/2025 school year! Applications are open to students under the age of 25 attending school at Wayne State University (Detroit), Kalamazoo College, or Western Michigan University (Kalamazoo) at the undergrad or graduate level.
This is a paid position where students will learn to co-facilitate sex education with our education team and become resources for their peers on campus and in their community. All applications are due by Monday, September 16, so don't wait!
