MO Supreme Court Upholds Medicaid Expansion

“Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region and Southwest Missouri is relieved for the hundreds of thousands of people who have been waiting for the health care Missourians voted to expand. We celebrate this state Supreme Court decision with all Missourians who have been fighting to protect and expand access to health care. 

"For far too long, we’ve seen the devastating impact on patients — disproportionately women, people of color, and people in rural communities  — when they fall into the Medicaid gap. Many delay care or cannot access it altogether. We look forward to jump starting Medicaid enrollment and ensuring every person who qualifies can afford the health care they need and deserve. This is what health equity and justice look like.”
