PrEP for Peace of Mind

People at high risk of being exposed to HIV can reduce their risk with medications called PrEP. PrEP is the pill to prevent HIV, and it's up to 99% effective when taken correctly.

Taking PrEP empowers you: You can have a healthy sex life and protect yourself without having to rely on your partners.

Syphilis

People who are at high risk for HIV exposure are also at risk for contracting syphilis. Syphilis is easily cured, but can be dangerous if left untreated.

How do I pay for it?

PrEP is covered by most insurance plans, including OHP, Medicare, and private employer plans.

If you do not have insurance, ask about medication assistance programs to receive PrEP at low- to no-cost for you.
