At Planned Parenthood of Southwestern Oregon (PPSO) we offer gender affirming care including hormone therapy as well as preventative sexual health care services for our transgender and non-binary patients.
Our gender affirming care provides hormones through a low-barrier “informed consent” model – meaning that in most cases we do not require a referral from another doctor or a letter from a mental health provider. Gender-affirming care is currently available at our Eugene/Springfield health center.
Our preventative sexual health care services include: cancer screening, wellness exams and education, STD testing and treatment, HIV testing, PrEP, pregnancy testing, vasectomies, birth control, emergency contraception, abortion care and much more. You can access these services at all of our affiliate health centers in Southwestern Oregon. To learn more about transgender health care, visit What do I need to know about trans health care?
We accept most types of insurance for hormone care – including private insurance and public insurance, such as Oregon Health Plan (OHP). If you do not have insurance or do not wish to use your insurance, we can give you an estimate of the costs and set up a monthly payment plan.
To make an appointment or to become a new patient, please call 541-344-9411 and our knowledgeable Call Center staff will help answer your questions and schedule an appointment. Our Call Center staff can help you with your insurance and billing questions, too!
