Here at PPNNE, we take your belief in our organization seriously and carefully steward your contributions. We are proud to report that our fund raising costs reflect just 5% of our total organizational budget, allowing us to invest your donations directly in patient services, education, and advocacy.

Every year, we serve tens of thousands of patients at our health centers across Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. In these tough economic times, our patients rely on us for life saving care at costs they can afford. Your gift will help make a profound difference in the life of someone we serve.

Here is an example of someone who will benefit from your support of PPNNE:
"I am a single mom and can't afford a private gynecologist. I am very happy to have an organization like Planned Parenthood from which I can seek birth control and medical help (if necessary) at an affordable rate. I don't know what I'd do without your organization."

Planned Giving

You can help PPNNE provide care to future generations by making a lasting gift to support our work. You can name PPNNE in your will; name us as the beneficiary of an IRA, bank account, or insurance policy; or create a charitable annuity, among other options. Special Funding

The Laura Fund
The Laura Fund is our abortion funding program. It helps ensure safe abortion care for patients who have decided to end their pregnancies but can't afford the procedure. When someone calls PPNNE for abortion care, they receive personalized and caring service from specially trained staff, including info about financial assistance through the Laura Fund. As part of our commitment to more deeply address the serious barriers and inequities in abortion access, we are continually working to meet complex patient financial need, striving to provide the level of support that makes affordable access a reality for each patient, while ensuring the Fund always has resources to help the next person in need.

Cancer Screening Access Fund
When abnormal cervical cancer cells are detected, additional tests or procedures, like a colposcopy, may be recommended. Our Cancer Screening Access Fund provides funding to patients who need these important follow up procedures but may not be able to afford them.

Gender-Affirming Care Fund

Our Gender-Affirming Care Fund provides high-quality, non-judgmental care to transgender and gender non-conforming patients, regardless of their ability to pay. We started this fund in 2017 as a way to reduce the barriers to care, as many private and federal insurance programs do not include coverage for gender-affirming care. All of our health centers offer gender-affirming care services, including gender affirming hormone therapy.
