Planned Parenthood is here for you. No matter what.

ABORTION IS LEGAL IN NEW JERSEY. As of today, it remains your right that is protected in New Jersey state law.

In January 2022, Governor Phil Murphy signed the Freedom of Reproductive Choice Act into law.

This law explicitly gives all New Jerseyans the right to make their own decisions about birth control, abortion, and prenatal care.  No matter what the Supreme Court ultimately decides, this means that you can get an abortion in New Jersey.

Planned Parenthood health centers across New Jersey offer abortion care.

Abortion types: in-clinic abortion and abortion pills

There are two ways of ending a pregnancy: in-clinic abortion and abortion pills. Both are safe and effective. You can get either option from Planned Parenthood health centers and other health centers. Depending on what state you live in, you may be able to have a video or phone visit with a doctor or nurse for the abortion pill and then have the pills mailed to you.

Over 100 years of trusted quality care.
