A Message from our CEO

As you can imagine, the way we interact with one another is changing because of COVID-19, but our commitment to our patients remains the same.  With businesses closing and layoffs happening everywhere, healthcare is a critical need for many. Our Planned Parenthood health centers remain open and staffed to provide care — no matter what — for individuals in our communities, regardless of their ability to pay.

Some of our administrative staff are working remotely to prevent the spread of the virus and our leadership team is meeting virtually each day (sometimes multiple times a day!) to address this challenging, rapidly-evolving health care crisis. 

Our interactions with you may be different over the next few weeks. Fundraising events and meetings have been cancelled for the foreseeable future, yet the needs at our health care centers have increased exponentially.  Enhanced prevention and protocols, as well as establishing virtual methods to see patients, have become an essential priority. Our goal is to protect the health and well-being of our patients and staff, but we cannot do it without YOU. 

Please consider donating online directly to our affiliate.  We can immediately put your gift to work combatting health care barriers due to COVID-19 and helping local patients get the vital services they still need.      

We are so grateful for our advocates, donors and supporters who help make health care access in the North Country a reality.  We hope you stay safe and continue to practice social distancing and self-isolation during this COVID-19 pandemic.
