Reach One Teach One North Dakota

What is Reach One Teach One?

Reach One Teach One is all about health, community, and responsibility. This peer education program gives young people an opportunity to learn about real-life issues related to sexuality and then share that knowledge with others. Content of the lesson plans, taught by Planned Parenthood educators, is always comprehensive, medically accurate, and age-appropriate.

What happens in Reach One Teach One?

Through a blended approach of an online class and independent study, youth participate in engaging discussions, games, and activities that cover a variety of topics, including: communication skills, goal setting, relationships, consent, abstinence, birth control, decision-making, and STI/HIV/AIDS.

After receiving training on these topics, participants share what they’ve learned with friends and family. These conversations are called contacts. Participants who meet contact and attendance goals will earn a fabulous prize.
