What We Offer: Other Perks for Clinicians

Start Date Flexibility
  • We allow Clinicians to start employment and start the training program before the credentialing process is complete if all the necessary credentialing paperwork is turned in before start date.
  • We can also be flexible with start dates. While we hope to get Clinicians started as soon as possible, we can wait for new grads to take boards & obtain licensure, wait for Clinicians to relocate to our affiliate, or wait due to other circumstances if needed.
Training and Onboarding
  • PPNCS’ training program lasts about 6 weeks (if training at 40 hours per week) and is very extensive. We can accommodate Clinicians training at 40 hours per week, 32 hours per week, or 24 hours per week. This training program includes:
    • Orientation for all staff (virtual, 2 days)
    • “We Respect and Honor All People” Training (virtual, 1 day)
    • Classroom training (in person, about 1 week)
    • Mock Clinic training (in person, about 1 week)
    • Shadowing a Mentor or Preceptor for the rest of the training period.
  • Training is fully paid.
  • Clinicians may have to travel during the training period for any Classroom, Mock Clinic, or Mentor/Preceptor training.
Continuing Education Reimbursement
  • For Clinicians working 20+ hours per week.
  • The costs of professional development, continuing education, conference registration and travel, professional reference tools (for example, textbooks and exam fees), licensure and/or certification, required outside trainings (such as CPR/First Aid), and professional membership dues in pursuit of development related to the employee’s position or other opportunities at PPNCS will be reimbursed by PPNCS up to the following annual maximums:
    • Up to $2,000 per year
    • Up to 4 paid days off
Shift Differentials
  • Bilingual Differential: $2/hour (differential is received for any time bilingual work is performed. Must have proper accreditation to interpret)
  • Weekend Differential: $1.50/hour (if scheduled to work on a Saturday or Sunday you receive the differential for all hours worked on those days)
  • Ultrasound Differential: $3/hour (differential is received on shifts scheduled to perform ultrasounds. Must be privileged to perform ultrasounds)
  • Float Differential: $4/hour (if assigned a shift or you pick up a shift not at your home health center, you receive the differential for the time performing patient facing work)
  • Evening Differential: $3/hour (if scheduled to work past 7pm, will receive differential for hours worked past 7pm)
Travel Reimbursement
  • Employees will be paid for travel done at the direction of PPNCS at their regular hourly rate of pay in accordance with applicable law.
  • Employees will be reimbursed at the IRS mileage-reimbursement rate for all miles traveled at the direction of PPNCS.
  • Employees whose assigned shift requires traveling 100 or more miles in a day are eligible for reimbursement for a hotel room for the night before or the night after (not both).
