PASE (Parents Are Sexuality Educators) Forums for Parents

What is PASE?

PASE (Parents Are Sexuality Educators) is a free class for parents who want to learn how to have comfortable, matter-of-fact conversations with their children or teens about sexuality.

PASE is offered in Minnesota and in North Dakota. We are committed to providing education that is comprehensive and medically accurate, for parents of children of all ages. We value health, community, and responsibility.

Why should I attend?

Your kids receive messages about sex every day. Believe it or not, they actually want to talk about relationships and sexuality with you! Research shows that teens who talk with trusted adults about sex are more likely to delay sexual activity and less likely to engage in unprotected sex when they do become sexually active.  Starting these conversations can be tough or intimidating at first, but they get easier with time. We know you can do it!

What will I do at PASE?

Through guided discussion, you’ll explore real-life issues related to sexuality, examine your own values, and learn how to use teachable moments to get the conversation started. You’ll leave the session with helpful tips and materials for having age-appropriate conversations with your kids.
