Classroom Education
PPLA’s comprehensive sexuality education curriculum centers on critical thinking, human rights, gender equality, and access to health care, and is aligned with the sexual health education requirements of the California Healthy Youth Act.
Our high school sessions explore the links between developing bodies, diverse orientations and identities, family and personal values, accurate information about health and prevention, cultural norms about sexual behaviors, gender expectations, and rights in relationships.
Presentations are facilitated PPLA educators who have extensive training and expertise in teaching sex education classes. We work with several key schools across Los Angeles. Further information on our accomplishments can be found in our Annual Report.
