Can I receive services at Planned Parenthood of Illinois regardless of my immigration status?

Yes, Planned Parenthood of Illinois doors are open to all people, regardless of your immigration status. Your status will not affect your ability to receive care.

Do I need an address to schedule an appointment?

You do not need a permanent address to schedule an appointment or receive care at Planned Parenthood of Illinois. You may also use a shelter or temporary address if you prefer. 

Do I need to schedule an appointment or are walk-ins available?

You can schedule an appointment online or by-phone. We also offer telehealth and same-day appointments. Call 877-200-7745 to book a same day appointment.

How can I access translation services during my appointment?

Spanish-speaking staff are available at all of our health centers. Translation services are also available. Please let us know your language preference when making an appointment and we will make sure that a translator is available for you.

How much will my visit cost and how do I pay? Is there financial assistance available?

The cost of services varies. Planned Parenthood of Illinois offers a variety of payment options for health services. We accept cash, money orders, debit cards, and all major credit cards.

If you're uninsured or paying out of pocket, we offer a sliding scale fee, adjusting fees depending on your income. 

Is my visit confidential?

Your safety and privacy is our top priority. Your visit is completely prviate and confidential. We will not share your personal information or health records unless given permission to do so. 

Can I get birth control without a prescription? How much does birth control cost? 

Planned Parenthood of Illinois’ Access Birth Control program provides free birth control to eligible patients so they can get the most effective birth control that’s right for them. Call 877-200-7745 or visit ppil.org/abc to learn more.
