Make Your Voice Heard
There are many ways you can make your voice heard. From registering to vote, to sharing your Planned Parenthood story, to sending a letter to your local newspaper, letting people know how you feel about sexual and reproductive health is important.
Are you 18 years or older and a citizen of the United States? Then you may be eligible to vote. To learn more, and to register, visit the New York State Board of Elections. As of January 1, 2020, 16 and 17-year olds are able to pre-register to vote. Then you will be automatically registered when you turn 18.
Write a Letter
Write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper. The letters sections are widely read and are a great place to discuss the issues you care about. Want some help getting started? Please contact us at [email protected].
Share your story
We greatly appreciate hearing personal stories of Planned Parenthood experiences. It makes our work personal and immediate, and underscores what we do. We all have so much in common — and there is strength in our open, honest stories. You can share your story today.
