Our Mission:

Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas provides trusted, evidence-based sexual healthcare and education while advocating for reproductive justice, care without judgment, and access to healthcare for all.

Our Vision:

A world in which everyone can access quality healthcare and information to live their lives fully, without judgment.

The following pillars guide the mission and values of PPGT:

Care.

We believe care is fundamental. We provide high-quality healthcare, medically accurate education and advocate for our patients, clients, and communities. We center equity and inclusion in everything we do; we respect staff, volunteers, patients, and community partners.

Culture.

We seek to create a culture of support, inclusion, equity, belonging, and accountability, with organizational systems that allow us to sustain this culture and focus on our mission. Our culture should ensure that we acknowledge, value, and embrace our many differences that make us who we are. We work together, as an informed and prepared team, toward our common purpose.

Community.

We commit to fostering innovative and supportive relationships with our patients, clients, staff, volunteers, donors, and partners to build healthier communities. We will nurture equitable relationships, reckon with past harms, find common ground, and seek new solutions.

Sustainability.

Resilience, sustainability, and growth are about today and tomorrow; they require us to live in the present and plan for the future. PPGT is committed to adaptability and nimbleness as we fulfill our mission to provide care no matter what. We will maintain our long-standing practice of financial sustainability by serving as strong stewards of our resources, so that we can thoughtfully expand our donor base, services, and number of patients and clients. We will proactively assess and address the political and legal landscape and its impact on our services, our patients, and our clients.
