Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas Announces Chief Operating and Medical Services Officer

Austin/Dallas/El Paso/Fort Worth/Lubbock/Waco Texas- Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas is proud to announce a new Chief Operating and Medical Services Officer, Amna Dermish, MD.
Dr. Amna Dermish is a board-certified OB/GYN who specializes in reproductive health and family planning. Dr. Dermish previously served as the Regional Medical Director for Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas providing abortion care, gynecologic services and overseeing transgender healthcare services, including gender-affirming hormone therapy.
Dr. Dermish received her medical degree from the University Of Colorado School Of Medicine followed by residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. She completed a Fellowship in Family Planning and received a Master’s degree in Clinical Investigation at the University of Utah. Dr. Dermish’s clinical and research interests include addressing barriers to comprehensive reproductive and sexual health.
